Talon Arms Custom AR-15 Uppers Purpose built for deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan, the TAC 5.56mm SPR is designed to function with military issued magazines and ammunition. This upper receiver gives the Marine, Soldier, or military security contractor a match grade accurate weapon system that can be mated to an issued lower receiver. Now an operator in the field does not have to choose between a dedicated sniper/counter sniper weapon or a standard battle rifle. The SPR weapon system was designed for US Navy SEALs fill the roll of both traditional weapons in one complete package. It is available for purchase by military personnel, security contractors, domestic law enforcement agencies and officers as well as civilians able to own a pre-ban/no ban upper receiver. No FFL is required to order. While optics and sights are not included with this upper, we have several options available including: Aimpoint, EOTech, Trijicon, Leupold and US Optics.
